Answers to common questions, and how to reach us.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a loop?

There are two ways to set a loop. You can select a section directly on the track waveform, and it will automatically loop. Alternatively, press the loop button at the point where you want the loop to start, then press it again at the end — the section in between becomes your loop. The second method works while audio is playing, making it easy to capture a passage on the fly.

Can I slow down a track without changing its pitch?

Yes. Use the speed slider to reduce playback speed — Yalaloop keeps the pitch locked so the music stays in tune. You can also adjust pitch independently with the pitch control if you need to match a different tuning.

What audio formats are supported?

Yalaloop plays the formats your device natively supports, including MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, and M4A. Files stored in your music library or accessible via the Files app (iOS) or local storage (Android) can all be opened.

Are my loops and settings backed up?

Loops and playback settings are saved locally on your device. If you sign in with a Melody Matrix account, your data can sync across your devices.

Is my music uploaded to the internet?

No. Your audio files are always processed locally and never leave your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Visit melodymatrix.app/delete-account to delete your account — all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. See our account deletion page for more details.
